Inky AI ("we," "us," or "our") provides an AI-powered assistant that helps tattoo artists manage Instagram direct messages and book consultations. Our website is located at useinky.app.

2. Information We Collect

From Tattoo Artists (Our Users)

  • Instagram account connection data, including access tokens
  • Google Calendar connection data for scheduling
  • Business information you provide (availability, pricing, services, booking preferences)
  • Account information (email address)

From Clients (People Who Message You)

  • Instagram DM message content sent to and from your account
  • Tattoo consultation details shared in conversation (design preferences, placement, size, budget)
  • Booking information (selected consultation time)

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Reading and responding to Instagram DMs on behalf of tattoo artists
  • Generating booking links and scheduling consultations via Google Calendar
  • Storing tattoo consultation details so artists have context before a session
  • Improving and maintaining the Inky AI service
  • Communicating with you about your account or service updates

4. How We Store Your Data

Your data is stored securely in our Convex database. Instagram access tokens are stored to maintain the connection between your Instagram account and Inky AI. We retain conversation data and consultation details so that artists can reference client preferences and booking history.

5. Third-Party Services

We integrate with the following third-party services to provide our product:

  • Meta / Instagram API to read and send direct messages on your behalf
  • Google Calendar API to create and manage consultation bookings
  • Convex for secure data storage

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or other third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. If you disconnect your Instagram account or delete your Inky AI account, we will delete your stored data within 30 days. See our Data Deletion page for instructions.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Disconnect your Instagram account at any time
  • Withdraw consent for data processing

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage of access tokens and secure connections to third-party APIs. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the Inky AI dashboard. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
